Social relationships, Health, and Altruism Research (SHARE) Lab

Kai joined the SHARE Lab because they are interested in how empathy and helping behaviors support healthy aging, especially in the context of caregiving and early-stage Alzheimer’s. They are drawn to the lab’s focus on the strengths of older adults and how social relationships can promote resilience and well-being. Kai's hobbies include going on hikes with their two dogs, drawing and painting, reading books, and playing video games. In the future, Kai is interested in pursuing graduate school in clinical psychology or public health. They're especially drawn to work that combines research with real-world applications.
